Glenn Miller è stato un musicista jazz (trombone). Nato il 1º marzo 1904 a Clarinda, morto il 15 febbraio 1944 a la Manica. Lo stile è di solito associato a jazz, blues e swing. Etichette: RCA Records e Bluebird Records. La discografia qui comprende 51 album, da «Glenn Miller Original Sound» (1975) a «100 Hits» (2025). Tra i riconoscimenti: Bronze Star Medal (1945), Grammy Award alla carriera (2003) e stella sulla Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Alton Glenn Miller (Clarinda, 1º marzo 1904 – La Manica, 15 dicembre 1944, disperso in azione) è stato un trombonista, direttore d'orchestra e compositore statunitense. È stato un musicista jazz e direttore d'orchestra tra i più noti dell'epoca swing, autore di brani celeberrimi. Tre sue incisioni sono state inserite nella Grammy Hall of Fame. L'autore di In the Mood è Joe Garland; si deve però a Miller e agli arrangiatori Eddie Durham e Chummy McGregor la versione del 1939 diventata poi famosissima.
