Biografia
Nato il 21 novembre 1941 a New Orleans, morto il 6 giugno 2019 a New Orleans. Etichette: Blue Note, Concord Records, GRP Records e Warner Music Group. La discografia qui comprende 62 album, da «Gris-Gris» (1968) a «Live at Rockpalast 1999» (2026). Tra i riconoscimenti: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2011), Americana Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance (2013) e MOJO Awards.
